VANWARD GAMES
A small studio making very large worlds. One at a time, for as long as it takes to build somewhere worth staying.
You can be homesick for a place that never existed. We spend years building those.
Unannounced
We'd rather show you something finished than talk about something that isn't. When there's a world worth walking into, you'll hear about it.
Nothing we're building is ready to be looked at yet. That's the only honest thing we can say about it today.
How we work
Four promises we've made each other. They decide what we start, what we cut, and how late anyone stays.
Vertical slice, or it is not real
Nothing gets greenlit from a document. If you can't play it, it isn't a decision yet. It's a preference.
One build, every day
The game runs at the end of every day on every platform we intend to ship. No long branches, no integration weeks.
Ship the hard part first
Whatever scares us most gets built in year one. A risk you retire early can't come back and kill the project later.
Hire the whole person
Small teams, long tenure, and crunch treated as a planning failure rather than a strategy. People who stay make better games than people who burn out.
Openings
We hire slowly and on purpose, and everyone here works remotely. If nothing here fits but you think we're wrong about that, write to us anyway.
Say hello
Work, press, or a good reason to talk. Everything that arrives here gets read by a person.
